In the UAE, one wrong WPS file is a rejected upload — and a MOHRE problem.

UAE wages have to flow through the Wage Protection System, on time, in a precisely-formatted SIF file carrying the right MOL employer ID and bank routing codes — or the bank rejects it and your company gets flagged. Now do that while reconciling imported figures against contracts, applying loans, advances, fines and leave, and handling riders paid per delivery alongside salaried staff. On spreadsheets and disconnected tools, errors slip through unseen and only surface at the bank — or worse, at the Ministry. Payroll isn't just paying people; in the UAE it's a compliance event every single month.

How it works

From import to SIF file, in one gated workflow.

Each step has to pass before the next — so nothing broken reaches your bank.

1

Import & reconcile

Download the prefilled template, enter each employee's net salary and upload it. The platform creates monthly snapshots and reconciles imported figures against contracts, flagging any mismatches before you go further.

2

Validate WPS readiness

Pre-export validation checks every employee is WPS-ready and flags anyone blocked — missing rider ID, incomplete details — with the reason, so a broken record never reaches the bank.

3

Approve & export the WPS file

An admin approves the month, then you export the bank WPS file (Excel) for upload to your UAE bank's WPS portal. Approval is required first, by design.

4

Finalise, generate SIF & send payslips

Finalise the month, generate the UAE WPS .SIF file (CSV UTF-8) for bank upload, and distribute payslips — view, download, or send by WhatsApp.

What it does

A complete UAE payroll engine — built around WPS, not bolted onto it.

WPS & SIF file generation

Produces both the bank WPS Excel file and a UAE WPS .SIF file (CSV UTF-8), built with your MOL employer ID and the correct per-bank routing codes — with UAE bank defaults and custom overrides.

Multiple pay models

Run fixed salary, per-delivery, incentive-based and hybrid workers on the same payroll — built for delivery and labour-hire operations, not just salaried teams.

Controlled, gated month-end workflow

Import, reconcile, readiness, approve, export, finalise, SIF and payslips run as one sequence, each gated so the month can't progress with unresolved issues.

Loans, advances, fines & leave built in

Salary advances, loan recovery, rider fines and paid/unpaid leave flow straight into the payroll calculation, with dedicated reports for each.

Import vs contract reconciliation

Imported net salaries are matched against contracts, and any mismatch is surfaced for review before approval.

Payslip distribution

Review every employee's pay, then view, download or send individual payslips — including over WhatsApp — once the month is finalised.

WPS readiness validation

Every employee is checked for export-readiness, with blocked workers and the exact blocking reason flagged before you upload.

Payroll reports

Download a full set of monthly reports — summary, employee payroll, WPS/SIF audit, loan recovery, advance salary, fine deduction, leave impact, final settlement and variance — or grab them all as a ZIP.

The outcome

Every worker paid through WPS, in the format the bank accepts.

No rejected files — export a WPS file and SIF that match the bank's format and your employer identifiers, every month.
Catch errors before the bank does — reconciliation and readiness validation surface problems while you can still fix them, not after upload.
Stay on the right side of MOHRE — a clean, controlled WPS trail every cycle, with approvals and finalisation on record.
Pay any workforce model — salaried staff and per-delivery riders on the same run, without a separate process.
Close the month with confidence — gated approvals, finalisation and a full report set replace the month-end spreadsheet scramble.

How it connects

Payroll that already knows each worker's contract, pay and deductions.

WPS Payroll sits at the end of the chain and draws on everything before it. Onboarding sets each worker's contract and pay model; Employee Management feeds attendance, leave, loans, advances and fines; Payroll imports the month, reconciles it against those contracts, and turns it into a WPS file, a SIF file and payslips — with every figure captured for compliance and reporting.

FAQs

WPS Payroll, answered.

Does this generate the actual WPS SIF file?
Yes. It produces both the bank WPS Excel file and a UAE WPS .SIF file (CSV UTF-8), built with your MOL employer ID and the correct bank routing codes, ready to upload to your bank's WPS portal. Standard UAE bank routing defaults are built in, and you can add custom bank mappings.
How do workers get their payslips?
Once the month is finalised, you can view, download or send each payslip — including over WhatsApp — directly from the payslips screen. Workers can also view and download their own payslips in the mobile app.
What stops a broken file from reaching the bank?
Two checks. Reconciliation compares imported pay against contracts and flags mismatches, and WPS readiness validation flags any employee who's blocked — for example missing details — with the reason. Month approval is required before you can export, so nothing slips through.
Does it account for loans, advances and fines?
Yes. Salary advances, loan recovery, rider fines and leave all flow into the payroll calculation, and there are dedicated reports for loan recovery, advance salary, fine deductions, leave impact and final settlement.
Can it handle delivery riders paid per order, not a fixed salary?
Yes. It supports fixed salary, per-delivery, incentive-based and hybrid pay models on the same payroll run, so salaried staff and riders are handled together.
